My family member was malnourished and so unhappy there we had to move her. She fell several times, smelled of urine if you showed up unexpectedly and did not receive medical attention for many weeks for simple infections. After a family passing I still can’t even visit the home. “FaceTime visits” are a thing but don’t get excited, you only get 10, maybe 20 minutes!! I have seen my grandparents with random bruising too, possibly neglected in this home. Let’s not forget to mention the rude staff who won’t answer any questions, they just threaten to have you removed from property. I couldn’t visit my grandfather who was dying, for months, and they’re just NOW making an exception to visit after he already passed?! Oh and it’s only 30 minutes.This isn’t a prison, but they make it like one.

My friend is getting great care and attention from the staff. He raves about the food, it is a posted a menu each week. We were recommended this facility by another facility. The staff is helpful, quick to know your name, helpful with any and all issues.

I toured several senior communities for my mother, and very quickly Burr Ridge Senior Living rose to the top of the list, being head and shoulders above all the others. It is a newer community, just under... Any issue, mom is taken care of right away. It's a very nice first floor and there is an outside door to an enclosed garden, which is great. We picked this community because, the cost is frozen through out time there.

Takes forever for care to be given while patients are in extreme pain. I work with people in this field and this is 100% unprofessional. Some employees in fact are very nice and accommodating but there are a few that are nasty. I would never send a love one that I care about to this establishment. I feel people should pick a different line of work if the one they picked is too much to handle. Looks like some people want to sit do nothing and collect a check.

The nurses did their jobs very well, but I did not see the personalized attention that some patients may need. Our peaceful setting, restaurant style dining experience, activities and beautiful setting combine to... We have had a great experience with Brookdale Oak Park. It is a very strong community and all of the residents who are here have been engaging and kind. I would recommend this facility to other families... With a short-term care rating this high we would expect many of the facilities in Lemont to offer high levels of physical and occupational therapy staffing. In addition, the city also excelled in the area of inspections with a B+. Rounding out its report card, we gave the city grades of B and F for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively.
Then, I got used to the place; the staff was so friendly and obliging. They had bingo and other activities that I didn't participate in because I was too busy with the rehab. They're short of help, all the way around. Sometimes it's hard to find a nurse on the nursing floor. But I really like the assisted living building.
Even during the pandemic the staff members encouraged families to come and visit. They built an enclosed glass patio so the families and residents could visit while still being safe which we really appreciated that. Sometimes our loved one complains about the meals, but she is picky so we have to take that with a grain of salt. They do have activities and when our loved one needs to go back to a community we will look no further.
